THE GREEN SCENE
Recycling:
Crayons
If you have crayons you would like to recycle, you can contact your school art teachers, office or the science teachers.
You can also send broken crayons and small pieces to Crazy Crayons where they will be melted down and remolded. www.crazycrayons.com
Holiday Lights
There are 2 more weeks left to turn in old string lights. Collection will occur Nov 15 - Jan 31, 2012, 8am - 4:30pm. The City of Edina Recycling Coordinator said she's excited about how many strings of lights they're receiving - way over expectations. Remember, every strand counts. Thanks for your contributions!
Our local drop off site is Edina City Hall. For more information go to: http://www.cleanenergyresourceteams.org/campaigns/ryh-11-12#map

Question of the Week
How do we reduce Junk Mail? If anyone has tips about this, please email me and I will include in the next issue. I'm still searching, but haven't found a viable source.
Any new questions? We need your questions or suggestions. Please submit them to me for publication in next week's issue.
